Well OU played Colorado for the last time as Big 12 conference members as Colorado leaves for the PAC 10. Colorado should be glad to leave as they received a beat down Saturday from OU.It is not that great of accomplishment since Colorado is really bad right now. Dan Hawkins is on his last year as Colorado coach, his 5 years as Colorado coach has not been successful to say the least. OU's Ryan Broyles had another great night last night with 9 receptions for 208 yards and 3 TDs. He was the best player on the field. Roy Finch played tailback for the Sooners mostly and was good. Demarco Murray played in the Slot most of the night and had several pass receptions but his best plays were still at running back where he notched another td for his record as a Sooner. Demarco puzzles me sometimes he seems to run so haltingly and fall down on the first hit. You say man we can do better. Then the next series he may come out lightning fast and you see the Superstar Demarco Murray who can not be stopped. He is a great back but just not all the time. On to the defense who played outstanding Saturday. They blocked several passes by the Buffalo's QB Saturday. Heck they even did the unthinkable for a Bob Stoops Team they blocked a punt. Bob Stoops since the Notre Dame game of 1999 when OU got a roughing the kicker call when they tried to block a punt, never really has called a punt block again. I did see them yelling at the player who blocked it, so they probably did not call that punt block knowing their history as I do. Well it is another tough road game for the Sooners at Texas A&M Saturday. Texas A&M may not be the greatest team but Jarrod Johnson the A&M QB has played well against us in the past. Landry Jones has to show he is good on the road again. I think they will be GO SOONERS!
