Demarco Murray against TexasWhat a great victory for the Sooners Saturday against the Longhorns.  For those of you who have read my thoughts about the Sooners in the past, you know my favorite player has always been Demarco Murray, well Saturday Demarco was the best player on the field.  Whether running or catching passes Demarco played great.  I loved his run down the Sidelines where most people would have been out he was able to use his talent keep in bounds and then do a somersault into the endzone.  he also saved the day near the end of the game along with Landry Jones who played great at QB saturday. OU had the game in hand when Landry fumbled the ball near the Sooner Goal line Landry was able to just push the ball upfield enough that Demarco was able to run over and get the ball out of bounds to keep it in the Sooners possesion. If the Longhorn who was within inches of the ball had been able to fall on it, the Longhorns might have been able to tie the game late and go into overtime.  I have to give it up to the defense of the Sooners Saturday, I have been critical all year. Saturday they played lights out and Brent Venables the defensive coordinator called a great game.  The defensive kept Texas bottled up most of the game.  How sweet it is to be 5-0 and with the Texas game behind the Sooners.  Well the Sooners get a week off before the Iowa State game.  Iowa State beat Texas Tech Saturday. It won't happen against the Sooners. GO Sooners.
