OU DESTROYS OSU 27-0

Well I have to admit I was worried before this game Saturday.  OU had been soundly thrashed by Texas Tech the week before and OU released the news that Trent Williams our best offensive tackle would not play due to a knee injury in practice.  This only added to a ton of high profile players injured on the sideline.  Luckily they had the at home winning streak and the hated rival OSU Cowboys to inspire the team.  Like I said in my prediction video, at home OU is still OU and will not lose in Norman.  Landry Jones started out the game throwing balls behind receivers again, but he finally realized just throw it to Broyles and let him make the plays and he did over and over Saturday. That Punt return of Broyles for the touchdown was a real thing of beauty.  Demarco Murray playing in I hope is not his last game at Norman was awesome on two touchdown runs.  Demarco we need you back next year don't go pro. I was amazed at the performance of Eric Mensik  a third string tight end took over the tackle job for  the injured Trent Williams.  He actually played better than Trent and dominated the OSU Defender.  If I was Bob Stoops, I would start him at tackle next year.  The Defense for OU in this game was awesome shutting down the OSU running game which turned out to be about all they had because Zac was not having his best game.  OU's defensive line led by Gerald McCoy harrassed him all day.  Mike Gundy called such a conservative game plan, it made OSU look like they did not care to go to the Fiesta Bowl.  I was suprised OSU did not use there best weapon but once.  That was Zac Robinson faking the pass and taking off running. He hurt OU the one time he tried it, making a first down.  After that he was either to hurt or Mike told him not to run it and OU had a great victory.  Well OU might go to the Sun Bowl, the insight, or the Alamo Bowl in San Antonio.   Where ever you go Sooners just win Baby....

Hey Vince, met you at the Christmas party tonight. OU just bagged two bigtime committments less than 24 hours ago. Tony Jefferson (top ten ranked player in the country) and his buddy Kenny Stills (also top ranked WR in the country) were at a sports banquet last night out in California and both made their announcemet. USC thought they had them for sure, but both announced they were going to OU to play together. Great night for Bob Stoops. Big catch for OU. I believe Bob's left eye just stopped twitching.
More great recruiting announcements to follow.

that is great we need big time receivers and defensive backs.  OU may be close to the best class in the nation this year.  I can't understand
Darius White one of the top three receivers who likes OU but let Texas threaten to withdraw their scholarship offer if he visited OU and he has not been at OU since.  rivals.yahoo.com/.../player-Darius-White-78114
Texas would still take him but he probably will go to Texas.  When he can go to OU and start imediately
