OU TOTALLY HUMILATED BY TEXAS TECH 44-13

I HAVE NEVER BEEN SO UPSET ABOUT AN OU PERFORMANCE SINCE THE JOHN BLAKE ERA. The Sooners obviously were totally flat in the first half.  What bothers me is that BOB STOOPS and the rest of the Sooner coaches never are able to go into half time and kick butt or inspire the team to come out of their funk and play like the Sooners should. Bob Stoops believes you should inspire and motivate your self as a football player, welll that is true Bob but sometimes you need a little help from the coaches and stoic Bob sits there and watches no fire or anything just calmly watches the humilitation of his team.  Ever since Mike Stoops left for Arizona.  There seems to be no one to jump in these players faces when they play like Franks the Cornerback or any of the other 10 defenders.  The last time that OU came from behind after losing in the second half was when Josh Heupel was QB in the year 2000.  That should tell you something about the ability of this coaching staff to motivate players. Yes, OU players came out in the second half and played even worse. Thanks for the pep talk Bob.   Teams like Nebraska are on the rise, which I am glad to see so we can renew a great rivalry.  After this though I wonder is Nebraska going up and OU going down?  This next game against OSU will tell the tale.  IT is at home against your hated in state rival.  Another flat performance and Bob may not be gone but some changes will be called for in his coaching staff. IT is at Norman where Bob Stoops has lost only two games in a 11 years.  Landry Jones the QB for OKlahma has given Blake Bell the 5 star recruit coming in the fall more assurance that he will be able to unseat Landry for the job next season.

Sooners have to win Saturday for the program

Go Sooners
