OU DEFEATED BY NEBRASKA 10-3

Ok Nebraska Fans your defense is good, but I am sorry our QB Landry Jones had his worst night as a Sooner. I know some of it was due to pressure from the defense, but a lot of the time he would throw it way over the heads of even our tallest receivers when he was not even pressured. He allowed your only touchdown by throwing one of his 5 interceptions. Another frustrating they very rarely double teamed Suh. Come on he is a great player double team every play of offense. They do that Gerald McCoy our great defensive linemen.I am also mad at Bob Stoops who in a peeve about losing to Texas replaced Jimmy Stevens at field Goal kicker with Tress Way the punter. Jimmy was two out of three against Texas in field goals and that one he missed was the margin of the Texas Victory. Jimmy was 11 out 13 in field goals this year Bob. Tress Way is 1 out of 4 in his field goals. If Tress would have hit his 3 field goal tries OU would have won this game. I am not saying Jimmy Stevens was a great field goal kicker and part of Bob's problem with him was his performance last year where he was a scared freshman. Okay Bob this is a new year Tress Way sucks as a field goal kicker so admit your mistake and don't make excuses. I think that if OU could have scored just one td they would have won it in overtime. Well OU will have to struggle for a cotton bowl bid this year. Landry Jones had come in for Sam and played pretty good ball, I guess he was due to show he has only started in 6 games in his career before this one.

Yeah, it was all Landry Jones not playing well, and really had nothing to do with NU's defense completely shutting down all aspects of OU's offense all game long when it really mattered. What about those two amazing running backs you have? Where did they go? That, and you only had a shot at 2 of those fg's, not 3 because one was blocked by that one guy who isn't very dominate. Suhco right? Yeah, Suhco. Take those 6 pts and OU still loses.

Oh we had our moments making good yardage running it but it was usually stopped every time by a Landry interception or overthrow. Come on now you got to admit your Offense sucks at Nebraska.

Maybe now you see why we lost to Iowa State. You guys go -4 in turnover margin and lose by 7, 10-3. We go -8 in turnover margin against Iowa State and only lose 9-7 because of a fake punt and then next play 40 yard pass. Our defense is amazing whether you want to admit it or not. I'm sorry to tell you but you did double team Suh all night, even triple team him. But when the guy next to him is leading the nation in sacks for a DT, maybe that strategy doesn't work so well. There is a reason he is the #1 player for the draft next year. Next few games research the teams you play and not the win loss record, it will help you understand what to expect during the game. Every Nebraska fan that watched your prediction video knew you were in for a surprise going against our defense...we stopped the run and forced you to beat us with your young QB, on the flip side we kept our QB from losing the game by running the ball and letting our defense win the game because they are legit and that is exactly what they did.

I forgot to mention Vince, but your running game was 80 yards on 29 carries for 2.8 yards/carry, so don't say the running game was stopped by Landry throwing a pick. You were 0 for 3 on 4th down because of our defense not Landry, his one pick on 4th down was tipped. Also, how about our chokes...fumbling inside the 20 and missing a field goal that Alex Henery just doesn't miss.

vince, just manup and quit making excuses....Nebraska's defense played great and shut down the OU offense when it counted...yes, Nebraska's offense seemed to play not to lose and was shut down by your defense which is very, very good....no trash talk here, just a very happy husker fan.

Vince,

First of all, great game on Saturday.  Hard fought and physical.

Second of all, where is the Prediction Show - Nebraska Edition?  Are you going to put that video back up or what?

Third, give credit where credit is due.  OU did move the ball between the 20s, but that's it.  And unfortunately for Sooner fans, that's not going to get it done.  And while Landry may not have had a great game by your standards, he still kept them in it because Murray and Brown didn't do much of anything all night long against the NU defense.  But the pressure that Suh and Crick put on Landry all night, forced Landry into those bad throws.  He had to rush it all night and it caused those passes to sail long or come in short.

Put the Nebraska prediction show back up there!!!

Ya Suhco - ya!!!! NU would have won by 28 points if Zach Lee didn't throw all those balls over our receivers head (even over our 8 foot tall receivers). Looks like OU figured out the option - they just knocked our QB down - Stoops owes you one Vince. Nice job!

OU's offense sucks as well.

And you are right, Suh wasn't double teamed - he was triple teamed. Watch the replay, the announcers pointed it out.
